Barossa Recycling is located in Kapunda and Angaston. The Kapunda based business owners, Jeff and Joy Klemm, have a wealth of experience, with Jeff running his own business since the days of Kapunda Rural Services which he began more than 20 years ago. The Klemm's opened their depot in Kapunda in 1991, initially selling bulk fertiliser. Over the years, Jeff has sold firewood and landscape supplies, worked as a shearer, run a small truck business carting fertiliser and grain, and run a hire business. In May 2019, the business expanded into the Barossa with the purchase of the Angaston can and bottle recycling business that had been operating for 35 years. The team were quick to make a number of changes to streamline and reduce waiting times at the Angaston depot. With depots at Angaston and Kapunda, Jeff and his family, (wife Joy and sons Peter and Shane) plus four employees, enable Barossa Recycling to look after an even larger area. The Barossa Recycling team look forward to providing an efficient service for the local community.
